“I try and get to Bakers Bar every time I go to Charleston! I’ve been going since they were downtown and I was thrilled to see they live on right across the bridge in West Ashley. They’ve always been so accommodating. One time I stopped to get a bite on the way to the airport for a 9PM flight but then my flight was canceled. They let me sleep on one of their booths and one of the bakery delivery drivers gave me a ride to the airport the next morning!”

“Their Sourdough crust is awesome! It has the slightest tang and they stretch it so thin and crispy that you can have a whole pie and not feel like there’s a cannonball in your belly. My personal record is two 16” Supremes and a 12” Mushroom.

“It took me a while to realize this might be the only ski bar in the Lowcountry. There are old skis, snowboards, Ski poles and skiing paraphernalia all over the place. They’ve even offered to let me borrow a pair next time Charleston gets some fresh Pow. Until then its just as good a spot for Après Surf as it is Après Ski. Shoot its good Après Work, Après Workout, Après Fishing, Après Grocery Shopping…
